Seméli Armonia 2022 – Red Dry Wine (PGI Peloponnese, Greece)

A structured and expressive red blend of Agiorgitiko (80%) and Merlot (20%), Seméli Armonia 2022 reflects the character of selected vineyards across Nemea and Achaia, combining altitude-driven freshness with ripe fruit depth and elegance.

The Agiorgitiko originates from semi-mountainous vineyards in the Nemea zone (approx. 450m altitude), while the Merlot is sourced from lower-altitude vineyards in Achaia (approx. 150m). Clay and sloping clay soils contribute to structure, balance, and concentration.

Careful hand-harvesting is followed by temperature-controlled cooling (7–8°C), destemming, and gravity-fed fermentation. The wine undergoes classic red vinification at 22–24°C with pre-fermentation maceration, post-fermentation maceration, malolactic fermentation, and maturation in 225L French oak barrels for 8–10 months.

Tasting profile:
Deep purple color with violet reflections. Aromas of ripe cherry and plum, layered with sweet spice notes. The palate is rich and velvety, with balanced fruit expression and a structured, gently spicy finish.
