Rare wine from the Argyrou Estate produced from strictly selected Assyrtiko vineyards over 150 years old that are cultivated in the area of Pyrgos according to the principles of biodynamic cultivation. The few bottles are "circulating" having matured for a few years in the winery. 25% of wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels and the remaining percentage for at least 30 months on its wine lees. A wine with excellent structure and enormous potential for development that is expected to redefine the Assyrtiko of Santorini.
Its colour is lemon green. Its aroma is elegant and complex with fresh citrus in the foreground, peach and almond following and all this embraced by the characteristic notes of the minerals. It is rich in the mouth while maintaining its finesse, with the crisp acidity combined with the greasyness and alcohol to build a solid structure, the aromas to appear slightly more mature and its duration to be very long. Can age for 8-10 years.
