Variety: 100% Xinomavro
Vintage: 2013
Region: PDO Naoussa – Protected Designation of Origin
Tasting Note: Deep purple colour with dark brick-red highlights. It reveals a rich bouquet of ripe red fruits, which coexist with the aromas of aging, cinnamon and wood. It has a rich body, good balance and structure, with soft tannins on its finish.
Winemaking Process: The winemaking is done from specially selected vineyards of Trilofou, which are harvested and vinified separately. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 22–27ºC (with prior cryo-extraction), and the juice remains in contact with the marc for 7 days until we receive the desired colour and body. Then follows the malolactic fermentation. Then, the wines are aged for two years in oak barrels of French origin, bottled, and remain in the company's cellars for another two years to develop their bouquet.
Alcohol: 12.5%
