VISUAL: Deep red with vivid purple shades

AROMA: Complex aromatic profile with intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as raspberry, cherry and plum, surrounded by aromas of fine wood, chocolate and roasted coffee.

TASTE: Full-bodied and dense, with excellent balance between fruit and oak and an extra-long and warm fruity finish.

FOOD PAIRING: Ideally served with grilled meat, spicy sausages, cooked veal in red sauce, aged cheese platters.

TEMPERATURE FOR SERVING: 16-18°C

WINEMAKING PROCESS: Syrah and Kotsifali were vinified separately in the automatic fermentors. Syrah fermented at a lower temperature to get an intense aromatic character characterized by spicy pepper aromas. Kotsifali was fermented at a slightly higher temperature to get the volume needed in the blend. Maceration took around 15 days while the blend was made during the separation of the skins. Matured in French and American 225 L barrels for 24 months.
