Kechris AFROS (3 Bottle Minimum)

Slightly hazy in appearance since the wine is bottled unfiltered, with discrete bubbles that rise quickly to the surface of the glass. Afros is an intensely aromatic wine with clear notes of pine resin and extra complexity on the palate, carrying all the freshness of the fermenting retsina.

A perfect match to seafood, fried or cured fish but also to the intense flavors of Asian cuisine. Enjoy it on its own, at the beginning of the meal or in a refreshing cocktail.

HARVEST
The 2017 vintage started as a late ripening year because of the heavy winter. However, thanks to the usual summer conditions, white varieties were harvested late by only a few days, giving grapes a slightly reduced acidity with high alcoholic potential and impeccable health, a significant factor in white wine vinification.

VINIFICATION
Vinified in a closed inox tank where the fresh resin imparts its refreshing character in the wine-bottled unfiltered wine.
