Domain Mega Spileo Red (3 bottle minimum)

Made from 60% Mavrodafne and 40% Mavro Kalavritino grapes hand harvested and aged in new French and American oak barrels for about 20 months. Then aged in the bottle for at least another 20 months.  To maintain all the richness of colour and flavour, the wine does not undergo intensive filtration or cold processing. Deep red color with lively red tints. Complex aromatics of laurel, white pepper, gooseberry marmalade, leather and sweetish wooden background (vanilla, chocolate). Balanced finesse taste with soft tannins. Superb powerful structure supported by great equilibrium of alcohol and acidity. Long and pleasant finish.  Will continue to develop for the next 8-10 years.
