Grande Reserve Naoussa is a trademark of Boutari Wineries. It is one of their first and most popular wines. This wine is a genuine example of a red-aged wine which introduced the concept of limited, controlled production made from selected vineyards to the market.
VINIFICATION
Typical red wine vinification with a high level of compound extraction is essential for an aged wine.
AGEING
A total of four years, two of which in French oak barrels (Allier, Nevers 225 lt).
CHARACTERISTICS
A rich wine with a deep ruby colour and terracotta tints, it has sweet aromas of dried fruit, dominated by tomato and fig, that blend with aromas of aging, like cinnamon, vanilla, wood, and spices. This potent wine has a body characterized by an abundance of mature tannins resulting from the long aging process. It has a lasting aftertaste.
