THE WINES

Alpha Estate Single Vineyard Hedgehog Dry Rosé
100% Xinomavro. Bright rose colour, with salmon colour hints. Fruity nose with rich expression. Rose petals and strawberries. Well-balanced mouth, quite full, fat but balanced, reminding the nose aromas, with a long aftertaste.

Alpha Estate Xinomavro Single Vineyard Hedgehog
100% Xinomavro. Bright purple-red colour. Complex, typical bouquet of small berries, red fruits, leather and spices (vanilla, pepper, clove), with hints of ripe blackberry. Full mouth, rounded tannins, balanced acidity and well-integrated wood tones. Long aftertaste with an intense quince aroma. Perfect match with juicy red barbecued meats, spicy sausages, red baked peppers in olive oil, stew rabbit, and full-body cheeses. 

Boutari Agiorgitiko
Intense red colour with a rich aromatic character of fresh black cherries, sour cherry and plum, accompanied by a pleasant botanical note. Rich body, balance and light aftertaste. Pair with red meats with sweet vegetables, wild boar and moussaka with sausage and cheese. Cured meats, hamburgers, pizza and hard, fatty cheeses like Edam and Cheddar.

Kechris ROZA 
The first and only rosé retsina! Combining the love for unique varieties of the Greek vineyard with the creative quest for different expressions of retsina, Roza is the result of a bold endeavour. A rare wine. Retsina, as it should be. 

Deep rosé colour with violet highlights. The aromas of fresh wild strawberries balance with the refreshing notes of resin, which change between mastic and herbs, and come together on the smoked background of the barrel. 

An ideal accompaniment to grilled mushrooms, seafood, smoked salmon served plain or with pasta, fish in red sauce, lamb casserole or lamb on the spit, traditional Greek meatballs, grilled eggplant, Asian cuisine dishes, such as salmon sushi and vegetable tempura, as well as piquant hard cheeses.

Kir-Yianni Assyrtiko
100% Assyrtiko. Vibrant yellow color. Nose with subtle aromas of apple, pear, and citrus. Rich and pleasant mouthfeel with flavours of stone fruits, oak notes, and a refreshing crispness. Long finish with a light saline character, in perfect balance with oak. Pair with dishes of Mediterranean cuisine based on fish and seafood and green salads.

Skouras Salto Mavrofilero Wild Yeast
100% Mavrofilero. Mavrofilero is one of the most aromatic clones of Moscofilero and is called a Mavro(black)-filero because of its dark pinkish skin. The Mavrofilero ferments with wild yeast. The reason for this choice was to achieve the best expression of the aromas of the variety and to enhance the evolution of the wine in the bottle.

Nose of high intensity and complexity with aromas of rose, jasmine, sweet lemon, lime, grapefruit, and citrus. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with an explosive, delicious, refreshing acidity and aromas of citrus, flowers, and tropical fruits. Medium-duration aftertaste with complexity.
