Mavro Kalavritino 50%, Merlot 50%

Vineyard
Mountain vineyards, situated at an altitude of 700-800 m, surround the Mega Spileo vineyard. Harvest takes place in late September.

Winemaking
A blending of two varieties. Pre-fermentative extraction at low temperatures and alcoholic fermentation in small tanks. Part of the wine matures in new oak barrels for an additional four months.

Flavour profile
Deep red colour with blue hues. Aromas of black fruits, with mild grassiness, set against cocoa and vanilla. Pleasant density in the mouth with a velvety texture, rounded tannins and a fruity finish.

Pairing
Grilled or braised meats, burgers, pizza, yellow cheeses.
