Made from Syrah 60%, Merlot 30% and Xinomavro 10%, Dyo Elies has a deep purple colour with the seductive hues of a grand cru. It is complex in the nose with a dominant bouquet of blackberries, plums and vanilla. Its body is well-structured with a long, harmonious aftertaste. Overall Dyo Elies shows a fine balance of fatty alcohol, vivid acidity and concentrated phenolics. Even though it shall only improve with time, it is already fully-developed and pleasurable despite its youth. Under proper storage conditions this wine can be enjoyed for up to 12-15 years.
